Tabatha Takes Over visited a gay club called Club Ripples in Long Beach during episode 2. Earlier, it was one of the most happening gay hot spot, but now it’s empty seven nights a week.

Tabatha Takes Over Episode 2 was all about how Tabatha tackles her first non-salon business – a gay club!

Club Ripples is owned by couple Larry Hebert and John Garcia. As soon as Tabatha Coffey entered the club, she could sense how stressed the bar owners were.

She immediately understood that owners had not changed and adopted with modern times, especially the changes in the gay community and the changes in Long Beach.

Tabatha was happy to see the club staff committed to their job and they shared some great ideas to regain its lost glory. The only problem was – communication gap between the owners and their staff.

Tabatha truly wanted to save this place, because she appreciated the legacy and liked the owners. Therefore, she took all of them on a field trip to establish team bonding and give each of them an opportunity to interact with one another.

The result was obvious – Club Ripples was transformed and it was all set to again become Long Beach’s happening gay hot spots!

Tabatha Takes Over premiered on Tuesday, January 10th and it will be telecasted every Tuesday at 10 p.m. EST on Bravo.

For this season premiere, Tabatha visited Jungle Red salon in Minneapolis where she helped salon owner Suzanne Erickson in taking control of her salon which opened its doors for business in February 2001. The Teardrop Technique is an amazing haircutting technique. Its one of the latest signature haircut of the SeanHanna salon in the UK.

This cut features seamless layers, and it really is a versatile haircut which works on all lengths and hair types. With or without a fringe, the Teardrop Technique promotes texture and movement without seeing the lines of the shorter layers, hence the appearance of being seamless.

If you’re a stylist or cosmetology student, keep your hair shears aside for a moment and learn how to implement Teardrop Technique by watching the video below.

In this cosmetology education video, you’ll see the London Hairdresser of the Year 2010, Skyler McDonald demonstrate what is Teardrop Technique and how it is implemented. Skyler features soft sides allowing the ear lobes to peep through, and tapered layers at the back with a long disconnected front creating this very gorgeous teardrop shape.

I hope watching this cosmetology education video will inspire you to try out the Teardrop Technique in your salon/school.
