Cosmetology Education is a highly sought after career option. There are many cosmetologists who have made it big in the hair-care and beauty industry by undergoing cosmetologist education.

There are many of us who love to do hair styling and make up. Most of the times, we style our own hair and keep trying different looks. But if you are really passionate about the beauty industry, then cosmetology is a career that you should ponder upon. To adopt this career option, you must undergo training in cosmetology. Online cosmetology programs are a great way of learning and acquiring skills related to Hairstyling, hair cutting, designing & coloring, salon management, skin care, etc.

Once you have completed your cosmetology education program, you can apply for a license and start working as a stylist. You can even work as a personal stylist for red carpet celebrities and become famous.

The cosmetology industry is a billion dollar industry and expected to grow in the next 5 years. So start your cosmetologist education today by subscribing to ScissorBoy’s online cosmetology program at www.scissorboy.com

Americans celebrate Columbus Day on the second Monday in October, marking the anniversary of arrival of Christopher Columbus to the Americas. Being a federal holiday, an annual parade is organized to pay tribute to the heroic deeds of Columbus.

You too can perform heroic deeds by adopting cosmetology education. The beauty and hair industry is a booming industry which is expected to grow exponentially in the next five years.

Lack of awareness is one of the causes why students stay away from cosmetology education, which is an excellent career option.

The color pink has become synonymous with showing support for various awareness programs and initiatives. Breast cancer awareness month starts today, and we already see ribbons, bracelets and even pink hair as colorful examples of support.

Now, women can wear their support around the clock with SO.CAP. USA Hair Extensions’ Pink Hair for Hope program, which is taking place at Brittany’s Spa Salon. For each $10 donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, anyone can wear their support by receiving a beautiful Pink Hair Extension!

I think Pink Hair for Hope is an innovative way for all of us to show our support for such a wonderful and serious cause. And when professional hair salons take up such initiatives, it raises the bar for the entire cosmetology industry.

Last year, the North American Pink Hair For Hope Program raised $480,000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Their aim is to raise more than $500,000 this year and Brittany’s Spa Salon will be helping them in achieving this target. We think this will probably lead to many women sporting pink hair!

The main organizers – SO.CAP. USA Hair Extensions is the official North American branch of the Italian based SO.CAP. srl international company. They have been featured in many professional beauty trade and consumer publications around the world.

The pink hair extension graft signifies a unifying bond between women who have undoubtedly known someone who has been touched by breast cancer in some way. If you are concerned as to how the pink hair would look with your natural hair, then you need not worry. All the stylists at Brittany’s Spa Salon are completely trained in cosmetology education and know how to go about their job.

The stylists in the professional hair salons use quality shears while attaching the pink hair extension to your natural hair which is very close to the scalp. It is bonded to the hair using 100% keratin, the same protein that makes up our own natural hair, so there is no damage to the natural hair once the extension is removed.

I am thinking of sporting a new hairstyle for this fall. While searching the internet for some cool hairstyles, I noticed that most of times the hairstylists are men. Whether you visit a salon or attend a training seminar in cosmetology education, the chances of seeing women on stage are very less.

It’s a real surprise that the industry which caters to more women has less number of women hairstylists. While thinking about the implications that the lack of women will have on this industry, I landed on a great article that voices the same opinion as mine.

It discusses whether the cosmetology industry is becoming male dominant? And then it goes on to analyze the reasons and points to an exciting resource for online cosmetology education.

Do you think we should worry by the lack of women hairstylists in the hair-care industry?
