Updates From Tabatha Takes Over Sea...

Everybody wants to have a boss who is easy-going and considerate towards his employees. However, leaders are not meant to be like that as Tim Tschirhart from Sweetgrass salon discovered during episode 10 of Tabatha Takes Over Season 4.

Tim had a really interesting vision for his business, a Holistic Wellness centre that offered clients not just hair and spa services but nutrition advice and chiropractic services to encompass inner and outer wellness. His vision was good and so was his team, except both of them were not on the same page.

The staff at Sweetgrass wasn’t aware of Tim’s vision for his business. Also, his leadership style was free rein where he left the staff entirely to itself. He gave them maximum freedom and a free hand in deciding their own policies and methods.

During Tabatha Takes Over, Tabatha made Tim aware that this leadership style didn’t work too well for his business and he had to step up to improve his communication skills so he could connect better with his supportive staff.

Tim’s manager Brian was not really interested in looking at the operations part of the business. He was negative and often had an issue with many of Sweetgrass’s staff. One of the employees – Jaklin quit in the middle of the day, which was very shocking.

To help Tim’s business, Tabatha took the entire staff to the Georgia Aquarium, which also gave Tim an opportunity to rekindle his passion for dancing. What was interesting to know was Tim had never had an opportunity to dance since 1995, so he must be thankful to Tabatha Takes Over for giving him this opportunity.

In the end, a good team building exercise and clarity in Tim Tschirhart’s vision and communication helped Tabatha to transform Sweetgrass into something just a little bit sweeter.

Tabatha Takeovers Over Episode 3 &#...

Tabatha Coffey was back to her best as she tackled another salon business in Episode 3 of Tabatha Takeovers Over.

This time Tabatha visited Beyond Hair Salon & Spa in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and met the struggling salon owner Aisha Mckenzie.

Aisha had started this salon with her husband with lot of passion, care and excitement. However, after she lost her mother to cancer, Aisha has grown very assertive and impatient. She is seen taking her anger out on her staff and that has made the entire salon atmosphere appear unprofessional.

In Tabatha Takeovers Over episode 3, Tabatha Coffey helps Aisha to get past her grief and get back to run Beyond Hair Salon with professional attitude. She also advises the salon owner to change her behavior towards her staff if she wants her salon to survive.

To build teamwork and give Aisha some respite from her grief, Tabatha and the entire team from Beyond Hair Salon visit the Cancer Support Community of Philadelphia. There Aisha get a chance to come closer to cancer affected patients and uses this opportunity to provide them some emotional support.

Meanwhile, Tabatha discusses with Aisha’s staff and tells them where they need to improve. She also provides some interesting salon tips to attract new clients and grow their salon business.

Tabatha’s Salon Takeover Season 3 starts December 6th at 9pm CST. The famous reality television series on BravoTV will provide every reason for hairstylists to get excited.

After two successful seasons, Tabatha Coffey will again be seen using her hairdressing and business expertise and edgy style to assist salons in danger of closing.

In Season 3, Coffey hits the road and visits struggling salons in California, Massachusetts, and Texas. For one week, she confiscates the keys to the establishments and takes over as boss, bringing her unapologetic, brutally honest approach to the salon owners and stylists who are in dire need of her skilled business direction.

This season, no task is too big for Tabatha. Whether it’s moving into a salon owner’s house for the night to stage a family intervention, tackling five slacking owners in one salon, turning around a downtrodden children’s salon with stylists who don’t like kids or even doing hair, renovating a gay salon with questionable taste, or trekking a salon’s staff to the middle of the Mohave Desert to learn to survive as a team –- Tabatha gives these struggling salons the major push they need to get back on track.
